Sid Kess Award for Excellence in Continuing Education
Recognizes CPAs who have made significant and outstanding contributions in tax and financial planning and whose public service exemplifies the CPA profession’s values and ethics. The Kess Award recognizes commitment to strategic CPA education, valuable mentoring and unwavering integrity and public service – characteristics personified by its namesake Sidney Kess.
P. Thomas Austin Personal Financial Planning Division Scholarship Award
In honor of Tom Austin who has supported the estate planning function for decades. The annual scholarship is awarded to a CPA who has 10 years or less in the workforce and less than 10 years of experience in estate planning.
Distinguished Service Award
Presented annually to an AICPA volunteer who significantly contributes to the advancement of personal financial planning as a practice discipline.
PFP Standing Ovation Award
Recognizes young CPAs 40 or younger in personal financial planning who exhibit exemplary professional achievement.
Technology Advisory Standing Ovation Recognition
Recognizes young CITPs in technology advisory who exhibit exemplary professional achievement.
Outstanding Young CPA
This award was created in honor of Maximo Mukelabai to recognize a younger CPA (40 or younger) who personifies an unwavering commitment as demonstrated through successful practices, involvement in, and contributions to the interest of the accounting profession.
